Hi, myname is Adam.
I'm a Software Engineer at Amazon Web Services in Seattle, WA on the Security Incident Response team. Before this, I built systems for the payments processing flow at Amazon, and before that I worked on SageMaker AI — model customization with AI agents, human-in-the-loop labeling, and Mechanical Turk. My philosophy is to build in order to learn and make the lives of people around me easier.
I've previously worked at Amazon.com building crossborder software, Goldman Sachs determining market risk, and PricewaterhouseCoopers helping non-profits.
Now
Ramping up on a new team in AWS Security Incident Response after eight months in Amazon Payments. Just got back from a week and a half in Japan with Zahra and family — Tokyo, Kyoto, and Nara — right after playing in BBA 2026 in Detroit.
Side-project-wise, I'm iterating on this site, cleaning up the CDK pipeline behind it, and slowly chipping away at a writing habit (see below).
About
Me around age 7. I look a little older now.
I'm a software engineer at AWS in Seattle, where I've lived since August 2025.
Outside of work, I spend a lot of time outdoors and I'll play almost any sport — basketball most of all, with skiing a close second now that the mountains are so close.
During the rest of the year, I sign up for impromptu races, keep building side projects, and stay in touch with friends through whatever app, group chat, or hobby is current.
